Meet Andrew Hatton, Director of Sales and Marketing for Hilton Pointe Tapatio Cliffs Resorts

The Story

In 1990, Andrew Hatton, a former Beachmaster for the Navy, found his way to Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort. Andrew had just transitioned out of the Navy as a Petty Officer First Class and was interested in working at Hilton because of its longstanding support for employing veterans.

“Hilton led the way [for veterans] ensuring not only today’s veterans, but anyone who served in the United States, has options to provide for themselves and their families by offering a place to work that is both welcoming and inclusive,” said Andrew.

Twenty-eight years after joining Hilton, the hotel has become like a second home for him. Andrew met his wife at Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort. His mom worked in sales at Hilton Pointe Tapatio Cliffs Resorts, where his son is now a bellman. And, Andrew, who started as a doorman, is now the Director of Sales and Marketing for Hilton Pointe Tapatio Cliffs Resorts.

Continuing to serve, Andrew volunteers as his property’s Military Commander, leading the Military Team Member Resource Group. They hold monthly meetings to ensure military Team Members feel welcome and supported both at work and at home. He also serves on the hotel’s Executive Committee and knows military Team Members are confident they have a voice in some of the decision-making.

Andrew has had a big impact on his fellow Team Members and continues to give back. Andrew, thank you for your dedication and service both to the Navy and Hilton.
