NBA Legend David Robinson Launches ‘Admiral Hospitality Scholars’

NBA Hall of Famer and philanthropist, David Robinson today announced the launch of Admiral Hospitality Scholars (AHS), an internship program which will provide motivated high school students - starting in Houston - a pathway to a degree and career in the hospitality industry with the financial support of Hilton Worldwide and Admiral Capital Group, and the educational and training support of the University of Houston's Hilton College and American Liberty Hospitality. The program, to be expanded locally and nationally in the future, is aligned with the mission of Admiral Capital Group, a national real estate investment fund co-founded by Robinson, which returns 10 percent of all profits back to the local communities in which it invests.

Hilton Worldwide Invests in Franchisees with Six-Part ‘Regional Owner Connection’ Series

A six-city tour of 'Regional Owners Connections' hosted by Hilton Worldwide ended in Toronto last week, the latest continuing education and networking event for executive Team Members, management company representatives and ownership groups. Taking part in these event were leaders from Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton Hotels, Homewood Suites by Hilton and Home2 Suites by Hilton, along with more than 1,200 owners and management company representatives as well as Hilton Worldwide representatives.

Hilton Worldwide Signs Management Agreement for Hilton Hotels & Resorts Development in Santa Fe, Mexico City

Hilton Worldwide announced that it has signed a management agreement for a 260-room new-build Hilton hotel in the Santa Fe area of Mexico City, Mexico. The hotel will form part of Samara - one of the five largest mixed-use complexes in the country, featuring more than 3.8 million square feet of space combining corporate offices, a shopping center and the upscale Hilton Santa Fe Mexico City. Currently under construction, Hilton Santa Fe Mexico City is expected to open in March 2014.

Hilton Worldwide Enters Myanmar And Signs Management Agreement With LP Holding Co., Ltd For First Hilton Hotels & Resorts Branded Hotel In Yangon

Hilton Worldwide today marked its entry into the Burmese market with the signing of a management agreement with LP Holding Co., Ltd to manage Hilton Yangon in Kyauktada Township, Yangon, Myanmar. The first Hilton Worldwide property in Myanmar, the 300-room Hilton Yangon will also be the first Hilton Hotels & Resorts branded hotel and is scheduled to open in 2014.
