Australians want a credit card that rewards their travelling spirit, but 40% remain unrewarded or unaware
A recent survey of credit card behaviour has revealed Australians remain passionate about travel, with almost half the population (46 percent) heading overseas at least once a year and 53 percent interested in a card that provides travel-related rewards. Surveying 1,000 people across Australia, the study, also found that over a quarter of people (27 percent) don't receive any rewards from their credit card and one in ten (13 percent) are unaware of what benefits their card offers. Hilton Worldwide commissioned the study as the hospitality company continues the launch of its Hilton HHonors Macquarie Platinum Card.

Hilton Worldwide is now accepting applications for its second annual Teacher Treks Grant Competition. The program, developed last year in partnership with the Institute of International Education (IIE), will fund15 K-12 teachers to travel, enrich their curriculum and foster greater understanding between the U.S. and other countries. This year’s program has two unique tracks for travel in the summer of 2014: the Travel Grant and the Teach Abroad Grant.
