WAIKOLOA, Hawaii - Hilton Grand Vacations, the timeshare division of Hilton Worldwide, has officially opened magnificent new recreational facilities and a 33,000-square-foot central Clubhouse at Kings' Land by Hilton Grand Vacations Club®, the company's newest vacation ownership resort on Hawaii's Big Island. A grand opening ceremony and blessing was held today to coincide with the completion of the resort's new Clubhouse, 19,200-square-foot Super Pool, lobby and additional guest amenities.

The Kings' Land resort is being developed on 112 acres adjacent to the Kings' Golf Course in the Waikoloa Beach Resort. Upon completion of the initial guest buildings, the resort welcomed its first guests in October 2008. The resort's 139 suite accommodations are arrayed in eight villa-style buildings surrounding the newly opened Clubhouse and pool complex.

The resort's enhanced amenities are designed for guests of all ages. The expansive Clubhouse serves as a gathering place for friends and families, while the open-air lanai reception area offers a professional concierge office and VIP service desk. Separately, the new Great Hall provides an enclosed arrival and departure area. A magnificent Super Pool is designed with dedicated areas for children and adults, and is complete with a winding lazy river, two 90-foot water slides, two children's water slides and a poolside sandy "beach" for kids. The Kings' Land Bistro and Poolside Lounge offer refreshing beverages and gourmet market and deli selections. Completing the resort's new amenities are a Keiki (Children's) Club, state-of-the art workout facilities featuring Hilton Fitness by Precor® and a game room featuring Wii and Xbox stations.

Kings' Land was designed by Group 70 International architects, with the interior décor designed by SFA Design, and is being constructed by Dick Pacific Construction Co.

Kings' Land is the third timeshare resort operated by Hilton Grand Vacations on the Big Island, following the 120-unit Hilton Grand Vacations Club at Waikoloa Beach Resort and the Hilton Grand Vacations-managed 167-unit Bay Club at Waikoloa Beach Resort, all situated along the spectacular Kohala Coast.

Three additional resorts at the Hilton Hawaiian Village on Oahu complete the Hilton Grand Vacations Hawaii portfolio: the 236-unit Lagoon Tower, the 72-unit Kalia Tower and the 331-unit Grand WaikikianTM by Hilton Grand Vacations Club®.

According to Bryan Klum, Executive Vice President for Asia/Pacific, the Kings' Land resort demonstrates Hilton Grand Vacations' continuing commitment to Hawaii's Big Island.

"Hawaii is one of the world's preeminent vacation destinations and a highly desired location for timeshare buyers," Klum said. "This new resort is evidence of our overall commitment to Hawaii and our belief in the growth potential for Waikoloa in particular. The Kohala Coast is home to some of the most prestigious resorts in Hawaii, and we believe that Kings' Land is a worthy addition to that remarkable list of vacation destinations."

Klum added that despite the current economy, "Our sales for the Kings' Land project remain on pace. We attribute this not only to the quality of our product and the attractiveness of Waikoloa, but also the resiliency of timeshare as a vacation product. People want to spend time with their families on vacation, whether the economy is good or bad. Our timeshare program, with its magnificent resorts and tremendous travel advantages, superbly meets our customers' needs and provides a good value."

Kings' Land was designed to provide the tranquility of a Hawaiian oasis in the heart of Waikoloa. The resort is ideally located adjacent to one of two championship golf courses within the Waikoloa Beach Resort and features picturesque views, from the immaculate greens of the Kings' Course, to the majestic Mauna Kea and its world-renowned observatories, to beautiful tropical sunsets over the Pacific Ocean.

The resort's spacious one- and two-bedroom suites showcase a combination of generous accommodations and abundant amenities. The suites have been designed to incorporate a casually elegant tropical style and feature a variety of upscale amenities and furnishings, offering all the conveniences of home, including separate living and dining areas, a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, and granite countertops throughout. The master bedroom has a king bed (additional bedrooms have queen beds) with a separate tub and shower. Additionally, complimentary high-speed wireless Internet access is available in every room.

Kings' Land guests also have access to the abundant facilities and amenities of the nearby Waikoloa Beach Resort and the Hilton Waikoloa Village hotel, including an enticing array of restaurants, boutiques, beaches and water recreation. Complimentary shuttle service is available between the Hilton Grand Vacations Club at Waikoloa Beach Resort, the Hilton Waikoloa Village, and area shops.
