Hampton Inn Hadley-Amherst Hosts Hampton Helps Cub Scouts Bottle And Can Drive

Hotel Joins Approximately 300,000 Team Members Across 90 Countries and Territories to Celebrate the First Annual Hilton Worldwide Global Week of Service

HADLEY, Ma. - In honor of Hilton Worldwide's first annual Global Week of Service, November 11 - 18, the Hampton Inn Hadley-Amherst Area is hosting a community-wide Hampton Helps event to collect bottles and cans to support the local Cub Scout troops.

"We are proud to harness our team members' passion and hospitality expertise to support the Hadley Cub Scouts," said Betsy Riley, general manager of the Hampton Inn Hadley-Amherst.  "Service is core to our business, and we are excited to help strengthen our local community through Hampton Helps by participating in the Global Week of Service. We are asking for support from the community because we know that collectively we can make a greater impact for the Cub Scouts."  

The hotel, located at 24 Bay Road, will serve as a collection location for anyone wishing to drop off aluminum cans or plastic or glass bottles to support the Cub Scouts.  Anyone wishing to drop off bags or cases of cans or bottles can do so between now and November 16, 2012.  The hotel team members will additionally be collecting recyclable bottles and cans left in guest rooms to add to the donation.   

Hampton Helps is Hampton Hotels' signature community relations program that aims to inspire acts of service, large and small, to help build stronger communities through the spirit of hospitality.  Hampton team members worldwide will give back to causes they are passionate about by activating Hampton Helps events during Hilton Worldwide's first annual Global Week of Service.
